So far I have been a mainly soft structured carrier babywearing mama but was given the opportunity recently to test out a new (to me) style of babywearing with the Hotslings Adjustable Pouch carrier and it even came with a matching Diaper Pod so if I am out and about I can be stylish and functional!
The Hotsling carrier is safe to use for babies 8lbs – 35lbs, and fits caregivers up to 220 lbs. I am a plus size mama myself so finding a carrier that fits is always a concern. My first thoughts when I visited the Hotslings website were how many fun and stylish prints are available and how affordable of a carrier it is. Regularly priced at $64.95 this carrier is definitely making babywearing affordable and with the fun prints (see a few below!) you can even have a collection for what outfit you wear!
We received the AP Moonlit Sky print in the large size (carriers are available in regular and large size) for testing with Tates who is over 30 pounds now and he fits great in it. Since he is a bigger baby now I do find that I have to swap shoulders often when using the carrier.
The carrier offers multiple carrying positions for growing babies including front, hip and cradle carry (please be sure your infants face and airway are always visible). It is great for nursing moms and has the ability to be worn on either shoulder. The Hotsling weighs only 0.6 lb and is super easy to slip on and off making it a great carrier to keep in your diaper bag! The learning curve is very low making it easy to teach your babysitter to carry your child too, an instruction manual is included and there are also videos on the Hotslings website.
It has some minimal sleek padding built in for comfort & support - and is machine washable (I love this). The included coordinating diaper pod is large enough to hold a cloth diaper, wet bag and a few wipes which is perfect for quick trips when you might not want to take a large diaper bag.
Make sure you head over and see what Just Add Cloth thinks of her Hotsling and take a peek at her adorable pictures too!
Purchase: You can purchase a Hotslings Adjustable Pouch directly from their website where they also have clearance prints available!
Win: Hotslings is generously offering one reader an adjustable pouch carrier of their own! You get to choose size and color too! ~Winner~ April G
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

The black is great because it could be worn with so many different outfits - but I also like the Lemon Mist! Beautiful!
If I won this I’d give it to my niece who is pregnant and she’s not a girly girl so i’d have to say she’d like the black one.
i would love a carrier for my baby girl 🙂 good luck all
I love silhouette! Full bloom is probably my favorite, but it’s a bit girly, although my sister would love it!
