  7. John has said that he had ADHD when he was in school but wasn’t treated for it. He always struggled in school because of it. Researching medical stuff online can be very scary so it is good to know of a reputable place to find information.

    One of the hardest things I’ve had to learn how to cope with is being a sister of a brother with an emotional disorder. When he was little they said ADHD, then as he got older the diagnosis kept changing. It’s hard on the siblings to learn that mom’s extra attention on the hold with ADHD is not a favoritism issue.

    • I never thought about it from that perspective. And you are so right getting an accurate diagnosis in children/teens is so hard :(
