EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale Review & Sponsor Spotlight

In an effort to start setting a better example for my kids and be a healthier me I have started eating better and watching my portion sizes and having the opportunity to review the EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale has made this tough job a piece of cake!  Yes I had to say cake because I shouldn’t be eating cake so I have to talk about it!  

I received the black scale and was very impressed with how very sleek and compact (with dimensions of 8″ x 6″ x 1.5″) the scale is and that it doesn’t take up very much room in your kitchen which is important in my case because we live in an apartment.  There are only 2 buttons so you don’t have to worry about getting confused; I know with so many gadgets in today’s technology based world some things are just too complicated however this scale isn’t.  The right button allows you to choose your unit of measure (Grams / Ounces / Kilograms / Pounds) and your left button is the On/Off as well as the Tare button.  So what is the Tare button you may be thinking?  It is the coolest thing since sliced bread (in my opinion!).  It is a feature that allows you to weigh your container or plate and be able to subtract that amount from your total.  This allows you to avoid putting messy foods on your scale; think raw chicken or other meats.

If you are trying to watch what you eat like me there is another added bonus, you will receive a free Calorie Factors book that will enable you to achieve your goals of calorie counting and potion control and with a max weight of 11 pounds you are able to weigh many things if needed.  The extra large LCD display screen allows you to see your readings clearly and offers an automatic shut off feature after 3 minutes to save battery life (2 AAA batteries are required and included).
