Planet Wise Reusable Wet/Dry Bag

New Disclosure (Above placement)I first learned what wet bags are when I started cloth diapering. Now I know how crucial they are to not only cloth diapering parents but every family in general. No matter what age your children are wet bags are useful, my 15 year old actually uses wet bags just as much as I do, he totes his things around in them. Planet Wise makes several sizes of wet bags as well as wet/dry bags in tons of colors and prints to fit your needs and sent me one for review to share what I think with you all.planet wise logoThere really are so many uses for Planet Wise bags and with a wet/dry bag you can easily grab one for quick trips and skip having to carry a diaper bag! With the 2 separate pockets you can keep dry, unused, clean items in the outer pocket and wet, dirty items in the waterproof pocket. Having the handy snapping carry handle is great for using the bag as a wristlet or attaching it to your stroller.wet dry bagIt doesn’t matter if you are toting around soiled diapers or wet swimsuits these bags are anti-microbial and the patent pending waterproof design keeps all odors in without leaking!planet wise wet dry bag.jpgEach bag is made in the USA and is PVC free and machine washable. The inside waterproof lining is sewn separately so the bag dries very quickly (we hang to dry). Measuring 12.5″x15.5″ I easily fit 5 cloth diapers inside the wet pocket without stuffing, I’m sure you could fit more ;).

planet wise wet bag.jpgPlanet Wise wet/dry bags are definitely a must have in our family and will be for a long time to come, my only problem is I want to buy all the fun prints! I have wanted a wet-dry bag for a couple of years now, what I didn’t know until poking around their site again is that Planet Wise makes diaper covers as well. As I will be once again diapering at the beginning of 2014 (yay! 🙂 ) it looks like I have some shopping to do!

  2. Tracy Gordon says:

They have great patterns and colors to chose from but I love the gray chevron print!

  3. I learned that they make nursing covers.

  4. Anne Perry says:

I did not know about all of their other products. I love the reusable snack bags.

  5. I have had a lot of trouble finding a wetbag that doesn‘t wick when holding wet wipes. I‘d be very interested in trying the Planetwise wipes pouch to see how it holds up.

  6. Amanda Alvarado says:

I love the wide selection of prints and sizes of wet bags that Planet Wise offers. There are so many I want! 🙂 I just purchased a wet/dry bag and I can’t wait to use it!

  7. I had always used grocery bags for my dirty diapers. A wet bag looks to be a great alternative. I really like the different color and pattern selection at Planet Wise. This would be a great item to win anytime of the year.

  8. Jennifer (robbins) A. says:

My favorite Planet Wise wet/dry bag print is “Yellow Geo”. I also love that these bags are made in the USA, and feature a dry pouch (as oppose to just a wet pouch option)! 🙂

  9. I really like the Planetwise wetbags. I have 2 large for home and 2 small ones for travel.

  10. I love the selection of prints and the variety of items that planet wise carries. It would be great to get a matching changing pad to put into the dry side of a wet-dry bag.

  11. Colleen Maurina says:

My favorite wet/dry bag is Lime Cocoa Bean. I love that these can hold both wet and dry items!

  12. Taylor Schell says:

I’m so mad I just bought a planet wise wet bag and I totally should have gotten a wet/dry! this post shows me exactly what I was wondering! how much it can hold and how much use I’d actually get out of it! duhhh. oh well need 2 wet bags anyway right? so getting a wet/dry soon. thanks for the review and giveaway!

  13. I just saw the other day that PW has zippered snack bags and am hoping to order some soon.

  14. I have a teeny tiny wet-dry bag I’ve used in the past, and I would love to have a bigger one like the one you reviewed! When I’m out and about with cloth diapers, I prefer keeping everything in one bag instead of having separate bags for clean and dirty diapers. These are the perfect solution. (And so cute, too!)

  15. Jenna Doneff says:

my first wet bag was a planet wise and it’s still is great shape nearly a year later! ours is not a wet/dry bag though. i have another brand that is, and while i love the idea, and the convenience, that one is delaminated and on its last legs!

  21. I think wet/dry bags are an awesome alternative to a diaper bag if you need to go somewhere fast. I also think they are a necessity for swimmers.

  22. We really love wet bags in my house. We have several, and when I find a new one I MUST have it! These are my feelings about the new chevron print. 😉

  23. Jana Mastana says:

I’ve been watching the forums for months, and whenever a FTM asks which wetbag/pail liner to use, it never fails that 3/4 responses say PLANET WISE. These products’ reputation is flawless from what I have seen!!! I have had my eye on the Patchwork Plaid bag for a while, but I just can’t justify the purchase. I know I’d better hurry though, because another great thing about Planet Wise is how many colors and prints are offered and how frequently new ones are released! Always something fresh and new :):):):):)

  24. Meagan Hart says:

I only have 2 wetbags- and they are boring and plain white. I love the Planet Wise prints!

  25. I love Planet Wise wet bags. When I first started using cloth diaper I tried out a few different bands of wet bags, and none of them have held up like PW!

They have so many cute prints! I really like the Turtle one that is available on Nicki’s Diapers. I’m seriously considering ditching my pail liners and going to hanging bags for the back of the kids’ bedroom door. I need more floor space!

  30. Jessica Hughes says:

I’ve been coveting a wet/dry bag for awhile now. I alternate between three small wet bags currently, but would love a bigger wet/dry option for trips!

  31. christine k says:

I’ve always wanted to try the wet/dry bag. I thought that would be useful for separation of clothes that got damp (say, from spit up) and poopy diapers. Don’t want poop on the clothes! 🙂

ive heard a lot of good things about the plant wise brand but i cant afford to spend 20 plus on a wet bag! :/

  40. Wow, I love the patterns and colors of the products sold by Planet Wise. They are very trendy and neutral, so if you have a boy or a girl, it still looks great with the rest of your baby stuff. The diaper covers are the best for what I can see in their shop in the website. Thank you so much for sharing!

  41. Love the orange woods print!

  42. I have never tried a wet dry bag, that seems super convienet. I would bring it in the diaper bag!

  43. I love their diaper covers. They come in so many adorable prints, I don’t think I could choose one if I had to.

  44. I really like my wet/dry bag! It’s great for trips, where I obviously can’t bring my diaper pail with me!

  45. I have three Planet Wise wet bags. I need to get one wet/dry bag for mama cloth.

  46. I love PlanetWise! I have a couple pail liners and a small wetbag from them! I’ve never had even a small leak from any of them. Their new prints are to die for!

  54. I love the idea of a wipe bag! We used a zip lock bag with our last baby. Need to get one of these for our next one due in May!

  55. I really like all the size options they have! Some days, you may only need a small wet bag for light errands, but other days might be an all day event requiring a larger but still smallish bag for on the go!

  56. Carissa Joslyn says:

What I’ve found really great about wet /dry bags are that they are excellent for not only diapers, but pool/beach days as well. I forgot some stuff while going to the beach and only had babys wet bag. worked perfect. mines really small though so I could really use another one!

  57. Vicki Hall says:

I’ve never tried any Planet Wise products I’ve heard good things about them. I love all the prints they offer. I’d love to try their diaper covers and wet bags.

  58. I own one planetwise hanging wet/dry bag and i really love it, it hangs on a hook by the change table and its so easy to use and keeps the smells inside where they belong 🙂 it would be amazing to win a second one so that i could use it while the first is in the wash!

  59. I recently learned the hard way that a wet bag is necessary for cloth diapering in public! I’ve never won anything, so I’m trying to kill two birds with one stone here, and while doing so, I found myself stuck on your site with all the useful info. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences!
