Bummis Simply Lite Wrap & Super Whisper Wrap

New Disclosure (Above placement)More and more families are cloth diapering for economical reasons these days and the most affordable type of cloth diaper is definitely prefolds and covers. Whether you prefer one sized covers or sized covers Bummis has you covered from birth to big kid potty time. I’m really excited to be sharing our experiences with Bummis all new Simply Lite Wrap and their established and popular Super Whisper Wrap.bummis logoThe all new Simply Lite Wrap is the first one sized cloth diaper cover from Bummis and is available in 4 vibrant colors/prints with snap closure. The Denim Dot print is super fun and gender neutral at the same time. Designed to fit babies from 8-35 pounds the wrap has a snap down rise and a contoured waistband with very stretchy encased elastic. The back also has very generous elastic to ensure a great fit on baby while containing messes. The only thing I don’t care for with this wrap is the tag is on the inside which could possibly irritate babies skin.bummis simply lite wrap super whisper wrap.pngThe Super Whisper Wrap is a sized cloth diaper cover available in 9 awesome colors/prints and has hook and loop closure. We really like the vibrant Rocket print we received. The sizes range from newborn through X-Large and are designed to fit babies from 7 – 40+ pounds. I love that the hook and look crossover closure is on both tabs (great for left handed or right handed users) and there is perfectly sized laundry tabs so your diapers stay nice throughout use. The extended sizes offer a real life solution for those parents who have littles that don’t want to potty train and are outgrowing traditional cloth diaper ranges. Cough cough insert our stubborn Tates in that category!!bummis simply lite wrap.png.pngMuch like the Simply Lite Wrap the Super Whisper Wrap offers encased elastic that is unbelievably stretchy, strong and breathable. I really love Bummis covers and will always describe them as being bulletproof, they are a wonderful option for overnights with no leaks! They easily fit over bulky prefolds and fitted diaper for a breathable and waterproof cloth diaper option.

Tates is well over 35 pounds and fits in both covers nicely, the large Super Whisper Wrap offers plenty of room for him to still grow and the Simply Lite Wrap although smaller still fits him comfortably.

The fit, affordability and quality of Bummis products are top notch in my book and a favorite here for sure ;). I’m really anxious to try out all the other products from Bummis, I’ve heard great things about their wet bags!

  1. Colleen Maurina says:

We love Bummis diapers because they are so easy to use and easy on the budget. Looking forward to trying their new products!

  2. I love to use these covers with fitteds.

  3. I primarily use prefolds, and I’m always on the hunt for new, durable covers. I really like these prints as well.

  4. I have a super brite cover and it works well for us, although I wish it came in the same prints as the super whisper wrap! (A rocket ship, frogs, flowers…)

I‘d be interested in trying the new one-size cover. I‘d probably pick denim dots too.

  5. A nice simple one-size wrap is always nice to have around, even if you generally prefer other types. It’s easy to use and can save some diaper bag space when you have kids of multiple ages. They’re not the most comfortable it seems, but they’re not the worst either.

  6. E. Diane Macauley says:

I really like the low profile of both covers, we tend to have relatively long and lean babies and many of the other covers just seem really bulky and impractical for use under clothing. I have never used Bummis before but am definitely interested in trying them now.

  7. We get the best fit with Bummis! They never disappoint!

  8. Christina K. says:

I’ve read many excellent reviews of the Simply Lite One-Size wrap.

  9. Tracy Dennison says:

I am new to CDing, but these look pretty easy to use, and they seem to get good reviews all around.

  10. I’d love to try this wrap, I use Tots Bots easy fit and it’s a great diaper, I can only imagine the covers are just as well made!

  11. I love the polkadot prints! We use mostly prefolds and covers but I only have one small bummis and i really love it! its so durable, i really should get more!

  12. michelle anne says:

Bummis covers have always been very reliable for us, even second or thirdhand covers. Excited to be able to try their new cover!!!

  13. I am hesitant to buy a diaper with velcro tabs because I feel like the velcro wouldn’t work as well after many washes and 2-4 kids. The snaps seem to always work well after many washes and more than one child. I like them. I also like the awesome prints that this company offers. Pretty neat! Go Bummis!

  14. We have a Bummis best ever bib and some Tots Bots diapers but no Bummis wraps so I’d love to add some to our stash

  15. I like the Denim Dot and Kale prints.

  16. Katy Emanuel says:

I have not tried Bummis, only their swim diapers, but many of my friends use them. Our favourites right now are Applecheeks diapers, but we have tried quite a few different brands to find the ones that worked best for us.

  17. Jennifer Johansen says:

I love the one in Kale!

  18. Ashley Chassereau Parks says:

I didn’t know they made a breast pad travel pack! THat would be so helpful with baby #2 due any time now! :)

  19. Rebecca Peters says:

Never seen the breast pad saver “wetbag” ever! Thats so neat! Glad I saw it! I was always worried about using the resusable ones in public so I didnt.

  20. Nicole Bear says:

I have some Flip covers with hook & loop, but I have been wanting to try the Bummis wraps with snaps. My cousin uses them with her daughter and likes them.

  21. Vicki Hall says:

I use bummis swim diapers and super whisper wraps I’ve not had a chance to try this cover yet but I’ve read that its roomy and light weight. I’d love to try the denim dot cover.
