As parents the teaching part of our jobs is an ongoing process. When our little ones get the hang of something we taught them they feel so accomplished and as a parents we know we helped our babies grow just a little bit more. We can’t be with our children 24/7 so we are choosy when it comes to who and where we have care for them in our absence. The quality of care and educational influence is a huge factor in my decision process and I’m happy there are places like KinderCare Learning Centers to not only care for my child but also be an extension of my teachings. One of my most recent proud moments was teaching Tates (my youngest) the importance of hand washing. Both my boys seem to act like hand washing is torture, I get eye rolling and ‘ugh mom!’ when I remind them several times a day. After explaining thoroughly (on a three year olds level) how clean hands can keep us healthy and looking nice too Tates decided it isn’t as bad as he thought . We also bought some neat foaming and ‘tickle’ (exfoliating beads) soaps to make the task fun.At KinderCare Learning Centers Learning Moments are a part of daily caregiving for your children.
