We fell in love with the Kia Sorento last year when we went on a family road trip and this year we were lucky enough to work with Kia again. When the 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid (premium edition) pulled up I was a little confused honestly. I thought there was no way this sleek looking machine was a Hybrid? And I hadn’t even driven it yet

When I think of a Hybrid car I automatically think basic features and no fun, WRONG! Not with the Kia Optima Hybrid, this sedan is full of cutting edge features and tools you can use on a daily basis to make your ride around town or family road trips comfortable and smooth. The push button start with Smart Key technology makes it easy to not have to carry your keys in your hand (toss them in your purse!) and the rear camera display (same display area as audio system) makes it where Mom does have eyes in the back of her head!

Maybe you don’t take lots of road trips but are seriously directionally challenged like me? No worries! This car is THE car for you! The Navigation System is super easy to use (I’m not very tech savvy either
) and with how seriously eco-friendly this car is your daily running errands and stop-n-go in town trips are a piece of cake. With the Hybrid engine you don’t even begin to use your fuel until after the ‘coasting’ phase making this car super efficient at 35 city MPG!

As a mom one of my concerns with any car is how will the car seat fit, as you can see our Diono RadianRXT fits just great and makes me want to purchase this as our family car now! There is plenty of room for the passenger in the front seat to more than enough leg room while the car seat is fully reclined with the angle adjuster. There is also still room for the back seat arm rest/cup holder to be used to separate your kids, if you are like we are you know a little space between kids can make a world of difference!

This is my dream car! I was lucky enough to take it on a road trip in August and fell completely in love. It’s the next car we’re buying!

We love Kia – I see that this has a lot of the same great features as the Sorento, which I did a test drive on and loved.

I love Kia and got to drive this one for a week and did NOT want to give it back. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was and how smoothly it drove. All of the luxury but still sporty looking, we loved it!

My mother has the keyless fob start up too and although it is very strange at first I have grown to really like this feature. Thanks for sharing this review.
We will be looking at cars in a few months and this has been added to the list! Gorgeous!! Thanks so much for Sharing, had no idea Kia had cars this nice!
Wow, I love it! Looks like the Diono fits great, which is a concern of ours.
That car looks o darn cozy!!
Wow, the example of the car seat in there shows just how roomy it really is. Our seats are pushed forward with a car seat and sitting completely upright.
I love the heated and cooled leather seats! this is a nice car.
I love the pull down cup holders in the back and the touch screen navigation/information panel.
I love the look of this car!! Ad I love the features, especially the heated and cooled seats!!
What an awesome looking car!! I totally want to go test drive one now – you have me super interested.

I love that this is a Hybrid. I have been looking for one that would work for us and my family has always had great cars when they have bought Kia!
This is a beautiful car and a hybrid to help the environment.
I really like that it is environmentally friendly. Not sure how it would work for larger families though.
I think this car is super cute. I like the heat/cooled seats & that it’s “green” but I don’t like how small it is for my growing family! We have a small car that works fine for now but I’m sure our next one will be a bigger car if not an SUV.
I love that it looks sporty and cool but is roomy enough for a rear face convertible. That is my number one when it comes to cars! The fancy touch screen is also awesome and the satin finish is great! I want one!
I really want a hybrid car! I love the big screen in this one and all the info it gives you about your gas mileage, etc
