Autism is really hard to deal with . One of my cousin is autist and it's really hard to interact with him
Great way to get people more informed on autism! Especially with everything that's been in the news lately… thanks!
I have family and friends with Autistic children. And the article is spot-on! No two people with Autism are the same!
Very interesting article. I did not realize that Asperger's and Rett's were included in the spectrum of autism.
nice article; I think people shoudl be more educated on autism
I only had a very limited knowledge of autism. I checked out some of the other posts on the site. Even so, guess I still only have a very limited knowledge.

As a society it is important to recognize that we should support rather than alienate families affected by autism. I read a comment today on Facebook from a mom that was told that her autistic son should not be out in public since he does not know how to behave. It breaks my heart that people can be so insensitive and rude especially to a child.
My eldest son has Asperger's Syndrome. I do like the article and wish more people would take the time to get to know these children, they are awesome!
Maria,
That makes me so sad! Some people are so ignorant
I agree with you, Susan, and I think it's our jobs as moms and dads to teach our children that people should be valued.
Very informative article. I have a friend who has a son w/ autism. He is a wonderful, loving young man.
Thank you for spreading this article for all the people. I think some might not know they may have this kind of problem and wonder why people don't understand them at all. This would help notice early syndrome then get action quickly.
