**WARNING~Poopy diaper information is in this post! Read at your own risk!**
For those of you that don’t know yet I am a cloth diapering mama and one of my side addictions that started from cloth diapering is using cloth wipes. There are lots of wipes out there but I am very picky when it comes to wipes, I have really large hands (super long fingers!) and my little one also has some crazy full diapers (as I am sure any mom can attest to!).
When I came across And All That Scrap I was really intrigued about the cloth wipes made of corduroy. I had never seen wipes made with corduroy before but then immediately thought to myself what a GREAT idea! I bet those things can scoop A LOT of poop! When I contacted Amanda she was more than happy to send me a set of wipes and have me test them. Amanda is currently a sahm to her 7 month old son and started her business to earn some extra income however she really wanted to offer her customers quality products at an affordable price. She started collecting fabric scraps and other items from family and friends that they weren’t using and putting the items to good use. I am a HUGE fan of repurposing items so Amanda’s shop And All That Scrap has a very special place in my heart. I love the name to, it is so fitting.
The wipes arrived very quickly and were mailed in very minimal packaging (another great thing for the environment!). They arrived on diaper laundry day so I tossed them in with the diapers and for the first time ever was anxious for Tates to poop so I could use them. Most of the wipes I own are 8″x8″ and we use anywhere from 1-4 wipes per poopy diaper, this particular diaper was VERY full. The wipes are slightly smaller than my other wipes measuring about 6.5″x6.5″ however I only had to use 2 of the 3 wipes Amanda sent me and honestly the second wipe was only needed because Tates was super squirmy. The corduroy material cleaned up his completely covered tush but didn’t saturate all the way through to the flip side that is made of woven cotton (that felt like a comfy t-shirt!) allowing me to wipe his tush dry without having to grab for a separate wipe just for that task. I am seriously impressed with these wipes! We have been using them for a month now and I make sure when they are clean that they are at the top of our wipes stack.
